5-Year Warranty

Every Kookaburra storage unit is built to last — which is why we proudly offer a 5-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty provides you with confidence that your StorageNest unit will perform as intended and be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use.

What's Covered

This warranty covers:

• Structural defects in the steel frame, doors, or welds
• Faults in manufacturing or materials that affect the safe use of the unit
• Faulty hinges, locks, or gas struts that fail due to manufacturing defects

If a valid warranty claim is approved, StorageNest will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective component or product free of charge.

What's Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper installation
• Normal wear and tear, surface scratches, or cosmetic blemishes
• Rust or corrosion resulting from exposure to coastal salt air, chemicals, or standing water
• Damage from attempted modifications, unauthorised repairs, or alterations
• Loss of keys or damage caused by forced entry or vandalism
• Damage caused by natural disasters (including flooding, fire, or storm damage)
• Any consequential or incidental losses related to product failure

Warranty Conditions

To maintain warranty coverage, you must:

• Install and use the product according to StorageNest's installation instructions
• Keep the product clean and in good condition
• Report any suspected defects promptly to StorageNest
• Provide proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) when making a claim

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. It is valid only within Australia and only for products purchased directly from StorageNest or an authorised distributor.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, please email info@storagenest.com.au with:

• Your full name and contact details
• Proof of purchase (invoice or order number)
• Photos or a description of the issue

Our team will review your claim and advise the next steps. If a replacement or repair is approved, StorageNest will cover reasonable shipping or service costs where applicable.
