1. Five-Year Structural Warranty

ARMX GROUP PTY LTD, trading as StorageNest, warrants the Kookaburra's steel frame, panels, door, hinges, welds and other structural components against defects in materials or workmanship for five years from the date of delivery under normal residential use.

If a covered structural defect appears within this five-year period, StorageNest will assess the claim and provide an appropriate repair or replacement under this voluntary warranty. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law may provide additional remedies.

2. StorageNest Lifetime Parts Cover

The original lock mechanism and gas struts supplied with the Kookaburra are covered if they stop operating correctly through normal residential use, including ordinary mechanical wear.

A lifetime parts claim may be made when:

The original lock or locking mechanism no longer latches, locks or unlocks as designed during normal use
A gas strut loses pressure, leaks, fractures or can no longer safely support and control the door as designed
The failure occurs during normal residential use and is not caused by an excluded event listed below

For an approved claim, StorageNest will provide a compatible replacement part free of charge. If the original component is no longer available, we may provide a functionally equivalent component. Standard postage to an Australian address is included.

What “lifetime” means: Lifetime Parts Cover applies for as long as the original purchaser owns the Kookaburra and ARMX GROUP PTY LTD continues to trade as StorageNest. It does not mean the lifetime of the purchaser or the product. Cover ends if the original purchaser no longer owns the unit or ARMX GROUP PTY LTD permanently ceases trading or is deregistered.

3. Replacement Labour and Site Visits

Lifetime Parts Cover is a replacement-parts warranty only. It does not include labour, removal, fitting, installation or a dedicated service call.

StorageNest may be able to install an approved replacement part when our team is already working in the customer's area, subject to scheduling and a separately agreed labour charge. We do not guarantee a dedicated site visit. These limitations do not restrict any service remedy the customer may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

4. What's Not Covered

This voluntary warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, overloading or use contrary to StorageNest instructions
Damage caused by forced entry, vandalism or an attempted break-in
Lost keys, replacement keys or damage caused by using an incorrect key
Damage caused by unauthorised modifications, incompatible parts or repairs
Improper installation not performed by StorageNest or a StorageNest-authorised installer
Rust or corrosion caused by abnormal exposure to chemicals, standing water or other corrosive substances
Fire, flood, storm, impact or other external events
Surface scratches, fading, noise or cosmetic deterioration that does not prevent the component from operating correctly

Ordinary mechanical wear is not excluded from Lifetime Parts Cover where it causes the original lock mechanism or gas struts to stop operating correctly.

5. Eligibility and Conditions

The warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable
The Kookaburra must have been purchased directly from StorageNest or an authorised distributor and be located in Australia
The product must be used and maintained in accordance with StorageNest instructions
The claimant must provide reasonable proof of purchase and evidence of the problem
An approved replacement remains covered for the balance of the applicable warranty; receiving a replacement does not restart the five-year structural period

6. How to Make a Claim

Email info@storagenest.com.au with:

Your full name, delivery address, phone number and email address
Your invoice, order number or other proof of purchase
A description of the problem and when it began
Clear photographs or a short video showing the affected component and the problem

StorageNest will assess the information and advise the next steps. Standard postage of an approved replacement part to an Australian address is free. The customer bears any ordinary cost of preparing and sending the claim. If StorageNest asks for a covered component to be returned, StorageNest will provide prepaid return postage or reimburse the reasonable agreed return-postage cost.

8. Australian Consumer Law

The benefits provided by this voluntary warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available under law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
