Every Kookaburra includes a 3-point locking system and closed steel panels to help deter unauthorised access. As with any storage unit, security also depends on correct installation, locking practices and the surrounding car park.

With 2.3m³ of space (equivalent to a 3-seater couch or double-door fridge), you can store surfboards, golf clubs, camping gear, tools, boxes, prams, seasonal items and more. It's designed for apartment residents, tradies, families and anyone with an active lifestyle.

The Kookaburra requires a minimum clearance height of 2.1m from the floor to the ceiling. The adjustable legs accommodate a range of 2.05–2.5m — the less clearance you have, the lower your vehicle's bonnet will need to sit. If you're close to the minimum, our team can verify measurements on-site.

The Kookaburra is height-adjustable and designed for many Australian apartment car parks and vehicles, including sedans, hatchbacks, SUVs, 4WDs and utes. Compatibility depends on the bay, ceiling services and vehicle measurements, which we confirm before ordering.

The Kookaburra unit is $1,749. Delivery and professional installation are available at additional cost and are quoted based on your location and installation requirements.

The $1,749 price covers the Kookaburra unit, locking hardware, keys, a 5-year structural warranty and StorageNest Lifetime Parts Cover for the original lock mechanism and gas struts. Delivery and professional installation are optional additional services quoted separately.

If the original lock mechanism or gas struts stop operating correctly through normal residential use—including ordinary mechanical wear—we'll supply an approved replacement part with free standard Australian postage. Labour, fitting and dedicated service calls are not included. Cover applies while the original purchaser owns the unit and ARMX GROUP PTY LTD continues trading as StorageNest.
